Product Properties

Sodium Diacetate (how to buy sodium diacetate)(SDA) is the molecular compound of sodium acetate and acetic acid, associated with a short hydrogen bond. Its chemical molecular formula is CH3COONa·CH3COOH·XH2O. It is a kind of white hygroscopic crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water (1g/mL) and ethanol, innocuous, and has acetic smell. It begins to break up when heated over 150℃ and emits fumes and pungent sour odor.
