Buttress Plastic Bung

Buttress bung is with coarse thread, as well as 2'' NPT plastic bung with fine thread, designing for induatrial plastic drums, HDPE barrels, plastic pails or IBC totes, precision threads and rubber or silicone gasket for leakage, such as EPDM gasket is compatible with a wide range of chemical products and high temperature.

The buttress plastic bungs are made from PP material, and available in general or vented models. Either buttress plastic bung or NPT plastic bung have excellent finishing, specificational consistency and sealing property.

Buttress plastic bung is made from prime injection-molded polypropylene material.

Either the buttress or NPT thread strictly fit tightly with the internal thread on plastic drum opening. With a well-formulated EPDM gasket, the opening mouth can be secured without risk of leakage.

Top outlook is setted to be uniform, customer can also find a competible metal drum cap seal or plastic drum cap seal to double protect the openning mouth, as well as a wrench to easily tighten and open the plastic bung.
