Gonadorelin

It is used for the treatment of reproductive diseases of cows and reproductive management of cows, including simultaneous estrus and timed insemination programs. It is mainly used in the clinical aspects of cattle breeding and in the simultaneous estrus and timed insemination of dairy cows. It is mainly used in cows with quiescent ovarian function, with basically normal ovarian volume on direct examination, without developing follicles and corpus luteum. A dose of 200 mcg is recommended for the clinical treatment of cows with quiescent ovaries. Simultaneous estrus as well as timed insemination, 1st injection of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone, 7 days later, injection of 0.5 mg/head of prostaglandin to dissolve the newly formed corpus luteum. 48 hours later, 2nd injection of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone, followed by timed insemination for 16 to 24 hours. It is recommended that the product be dosed at 100 micrograms for simultaneous estrus and timed insemination applications in dairy cows. Gonadorelin is used clinically for the differential diagnosis of fertility disorders in males or females due to hypothalamic or pituitary hypoplasia, gonadal insufficiency in gonadal atrophy, lactational amenorrhea, primary and secondary amenorrhea, menopause and premature menopause, pituitary tumors, organ damage to the pituitary gland, and de facto hypothalamic dysfunction.
