What materials and tools does it need to do conveyor belt daily repair?
Before choosing mateirals and tools ,we need firstly decide which repair method we will use, cold vulcanizing or hot vulcanizing ?
Comparing with hot vulcanizing, cold vulcanizing is one popular way in common use , which is easy and convenient , can save much more manpower and material resources,
and more, conveyor belt can be back to use just after repairing. so we recommend to choose cold vulcanzing way to repair belt.
After choosing repair way , we are going to choose related materials and tools .
It is crucial to choose materials , which plays a core role in the whole belt repair .Inappropriate materials will got a bad repair result .Of course,without matching tools,
even if with the best materials, we can not have a good effect.
so what materials and tools do we need in conveyor belt daily repair ?
Firstly choose materials.
Materials we need in belt daily repair : glue, cleaning solution ,and repair strip .
Glue is to used to bond belt and repair stirp, which quality will directly effect the result of repair, so chooing glue is very important .
We recommend Ramimtech cold vulcanizing glue sk313. It is compound of 1kg adhesive and 40g hardener. Its curing speed is many times faster than ordinary glue.
Operating temperation is -40-120 celsius, can suit for all kinds of extreme weather. it have good property of flame retardant, preventing that it is on fire just after igniting.
Cleaning soluiton is used to deeply clean conveyor belt , which made glue have the biggest bonding strength .
Repair strip is used to be bonded with conveyor belt ,so as to achieve belt repair.
Then we choose repair tools .
Tools we need in belt daily repair: Angle grinder, tungsten carbide grinding disc, glue brush, roller stitcher.
Tungsten carbide buffing disc is fixed on angle grinder to roughen belt damage part,so that glue can be brushed much more better .
Brush is used to brushing cleaning solution and glue .
Roller stitcher is used after repair strip beening bonded , which make sure conveyor belt and repair strip be bonded without bubble between them .
We don't mean it will make sure good repair only to use suitable materials and tools. We also need related technic support.
