UL1185 PVC UL Cable

The most common UL coaxial cable is UL1185. They are typically made with four internal layers which includes an inner conductor at the center. A dielectric insulator layer coats the inner conductor, above which a second conductive layer made of braided wires covers the inner insulation layer. All of these are then encompassed with a thin insulating outer layer.

Conductor: 30 AWG - 4/0 AWG, Solid or Stranded.

Insulation: Extruded PVC

Shielding: Aluminum Foil + Copper Spiral Wrap / Copper Braiding

Jacket: Extruded PVC, 15 mils (0.38mm) minimum average thickness, 12 mils (0.305mm) minimum thickness at any point.

Standard: Appliance Wiring Material UL 758.

RoHS & REACH compliance

Resistant to acids, oils, alkalis, moisture & fungi.

Use: Internal wiring of appliances. Tags may indicate the following: 600 V Peak - For Electronic Use Only.
