O-methyl-2-(2-aminoethyl)-pyrrolidine, also known as 1-methyl-2-aminoethylpyrrolidine, is a widely used pharmaceutical intermediate. After the hydrogen on the nitrogen is replaced, it can be made into a series of new drugs. Most of these drugs are 5-HT receptors and can treat insomnia, headaches, depression and schizophrenia.
