Abrasive Garnet
As a naturally occuring silicate crystal, abrasive garnet is a great media for blast cleaning. The hardness of bulk abrasivo garnet is suitable for aggressive applications. For instance, the Mohs hardness of almandine is about 6.5 to 7.5. As a professional abrasive garnet supplier, HAOYUN will prepare and screen our abrasivo garnet to the necessary size gradation so as to provide better abrasive solutions.
High specific gravity. High specific gravity provides a unique filter design. It's an excellent support bed.
Higher flow rate. bulk garnet abrasive, in combination with other filter media, provides higher flow rates, loading, and better filtration.
High hardness. High hardness reduces attrition and extends the lifetime of the filter bed and provides years of reliable service.
Abrasive Garnet Uses
The hardness of abrasivo garnet is moderate and has high bulk density. It has free silica and good toughness. It is the ideal "environmentally friendly" sandblasting material.
