Cetrorelix acetate
Cetrorelix acetate is a synthetic decapeptide that is mainly used in assisted reproductive technology to prevent early ovulation in patients with controlled ovarian stimulation.Cetrorelix acetate, also commonly known as cetrorelix, is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist that competitively binds with endogenous LHRH to receptors on the cell membrane of the pituitary gland, thereby inhibiting the pituitary gland's secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) in a dose-dependent manner.
