Coxsackievirus A6 is a positive-strand RNA virus that may cause Hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD), herpes pharyngitis and demodicosis, etc. This HFMD test kit is a real-time (rt) reverse transcriptase (RT) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test intended for the qualitative detection of coxsackievirus A6 nucleic acid from human throat swab samples.
