DIN 557/562 Square Nuts
DIN 557/562 square nut is a steel fastening device screwed on a steel bolt-on on all four sides. The square nut uses a special wrench to tighten and loosen it from the bolt before the hex nut. The DIN 557 square nut/562 square nut can be used for both small fastener applications and very large fastener applications as the success of the design has proven to be worthy of countless applications.
