Elastomeric bearing pad
Elastomeric bearing pad is divided into two types - non-reinforced elastomeric bearing pad and elastomeric bearing with steel plates. They are manufactured from neoprene, natural rubber or others and widely used in the bridges. Elastomeric bearing pad is designed to minimize the effect of vibration on the structure and to dissipate noise, also it shear deformation to accommodate the horizontal displacement of the superstructure.Feature
Allow for expansion and contractions of precast steel structure of bridges.
Accommodate the large displacement when the temperature changing and earthquake happening.
Permit the structure to retain original shapes and position because of the high elastic of rubber.
Capable to control load distribution, and accommodate thermal and end beam rotational movements.
Fixed with pins for reducing the risk of slippage.
Easy to be installed and low cost maintenance.
