Hexane is an organic solvent with good viscosity. It is often used in rubber food, pharmaceuticals, perfume, shoemaking, tape, ball making, grinding, leather, textiles, furniture, paint industry, or as a dilution, cleaning solvent, or viscose. It can also be a solvent for extracting seed oil (such as soybean oil, cottonseed oil, flax, peanut, safflower oil, etc.); it can also be a raw material for manufacturing polymers; such as polypropylene and polyethylene.
