What Is Static Var Generator?
Static Var Generator (SVG) also known as active power factor compensators (APFC) or instantaneous stepless reactive power compensators are the ultimate answer to power quality problems caused by low power factor and reactive power demand for a wide range of segments and applications.

HISVG is composed of following parts:
Starter cabinet
Control cabinet
Power cabinet
Connected reactor (or connected transformer),
Air- cooled or pure water-cooled device, etc.
High-speed optical fiber communication is used between the controller and the converter chain.
Principle of HK High-voltage SVG (Static Hybrid Var Generator)
The chain voltage source inverter is connected to the grid by connecting reactance;
The continuous change of the amplitude and phase of the inverter AC voltage is realized by controlling the voltage stability of the DC side capacitor of the chain inverter;
The difference between the inverter AC voltage and the grid's AC voltage generates a reactive current with a leading or lagging amplitude continuously changing on the connected reactance, thereby realizing the occurrence of reactive current.
When the inverter outputs a specific order of harmonic voltage, it can output the corresponding order of harmonic current, which can be applied to the compensation for the specific order of harmonic current.
When the chain inverter of HISVG uses the delta connection mode and realizes any split-phase reactive output control according to the susceptance principle, it can be applied to unbalanced load compensation.
HISVG realizes dynamic reactive power compensation, harmonic current compensation and unbalanced current compensation based on the principle of active current control, avoiding the series shortcomings of traditional SVC or FC. The cost performance of HISVG is far superior to traditional SVC or FC compensation.
