IGF-1LR3
IGF-1LR3 is a hormone with a molecular weight of 7.6 kD and a molecular structure similar to insulin. The main mechanism of action is to induce intracellular signaling by binding to its specific receptor (IGF1R).IGF-1LR3 is one of the most potent activators of the AKT signaling pathway.Activation of the AKT signaling pathway stimulates cell growth and proliferation and inhibits apoptosis of the cellular Chemicalbook cells.IGF-1LR3 adds 13 amino acids at the N-terminal end of intact IGF-1 molecules to form a long chain of 83 amino acids of IGF-1. IGF-1LR3 adds 13 amino acids to the N-terminus of the intact IGF-1 molecule to form an 83 amino acid long chain IGF-1, and replaces the third amino acid glutamic acid (E) in the IGF-1 molecule with arginine (R), so it is called R3. IGF-1LR3 has a higher stability and bioactivity compared with unmodified IGF-1.
