Suitable for temperatures up to 120°C (248°F), they can be used in a field of solid-liquid extraction studies, such as food lipid and pesticide analyses in food and soil samples.

Totally free of binders or additives, Hawach glass fiber extraction thimbles are made of Borosilicate glass fibers. Suited for temperatures up to 500°C (932°F), they are often used when solvents are not compatible with cellulose thimbles. Glass fiber extraction thimbles are often suitable in the field of monitoring smokestack gas, analyzing pesticide residues and determining oil/fat content of foods.
