Piston Pins
Piston pins are mainly used in the diesel engine industry and are cylindrical pins mounted on the piston skirt. lts middle part passes through the small head hole of the connecting rod and is used to connect the piston and the connecting rod. lts function is to transmit the gas force borne by the piston to the connecting rod or to make the small head of the connecting rod drive the piston to move together. To reduce weight, the piston pin is generally made of high-quality alloy steel and made hollow.
The piston rod pin bears a large periodic impact load under high-temperature conditions, and the design require shigh enough mechanical strength, wear resistance, and fatigue resistance.
