Polyester Viscose Blend

PET/VIS blends are blended by a certain proportion of polyester fibers and viscose fibers. Usually, polyester mix viscose can be used to produce wet wipes, soft towels, and other products. Poly viscose fabric has good water absorption, but poor wet strength, and polyester viscose fabric has the characteristics of high wet strength. Therefore, PET/VIS blends can have the advantage of good water absorption and high strength.

What Is Polyester Viscose Blend

Polyester viscose fabrics also named polyester viscose blends are mixtures of viscose and polyester. Mixing polyester with viscose enables to offer you the best of both worlds and at the same time is very affordable. Polyester Viscose is best described as a semi-natural or semi-synthetic fibre.

65 Polyester 35 Viscose Washing Instructions

Using cold water and mild detergent to gently wash 65 polyester 35 viscose fabric. Do not bleach or soak 65 polyester 35 viscose fabric. Dry immediately after washing and do not leave garment wet in a heap. 65 polyester 35 viscose fabrics should be hung up on a clothesline or laid flat to dry when they are still soaking wet. The viscose content retains water, therefore it is likely to take a while to dry thoroughly.

Does Viscose Polyester Blend Shrink

Viscose and polyester blend may shrink if it is not washed properly. If you choose machine washing, you should turn the polyester and viscose fabric inside out and place it in a mesh laundry bag to avoid snags and tears.
