Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose gum (Na-CMC or cellulose gum) is the most widely used and most frequently used type of anionic cellulose ether. It is a white fibrous or granulated powder. Odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, hygroscopic, easily soluble in both hot and cold water, obtained by chemical modification of natural fibers featured by unusual and extremely valuable physical and chemical properties. The main raw material to process CMC is refined cotton and wood pulp.

STORAGE:

Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose shall be kept in a dry and ventilated area. Once the bag is opened, please use it up ASAP. The normal shelf life is 24 months. In some applications, shelf life can even be 36 months.
