More About 7x19 Stainless Steel Cable (T316)

7 x 19 aircraft cable wire rope is a general purpose cable. The 7x19 stainless steel cable configura tion includes 7 strands and 19 wires per strand in stainless steel, resulting in a small diameter st ainless wire rope that resists corrosion and is flexible. Aircraft cable strength is ideal for a ran ge of light duty applications, such as rails, fences, winch lines, garage doors, rigging sailboats, and exercise equipment.

The T316 stainless steel finish provides the highest level of protection against corrosion. It's als o referred to as “marine grade” stainless steel, so it's ideal in high moisture environments. For ad ditional protection, a vinyl coated stainless steel cable configuration is also available.Please not e: commercial grade aircraft cable cannot be used for aircraft controls.
