What gule we should use when coat conveyor drum ?
To do conveyor drum coating,we need two kinds materials , one is drum coating rubber sheet , the other is glue .
Before coating, we must first know the surrounding environments, and then accord to the technique to choose the right conveyor drum coating glue.
so what glue we should use when do drum coating?
In temrs of pulley lagging techinic in China, cold vulcanizing way is not affected by environmental factors. we always use two kinds
drum coating materials-Ramimtech wear-resistant rubber sheet and cold vulcanzing glue sk313 to do fast cold drum coating.
This pulley lagging process can be on-site,surface or under grounding. Be fast and no need remove drum.
Be with features of high bonding strenght , wear-resistant , high tensile strength, and drum can be back to use soon.
After choosing materials for drum cold bonding coating , then we need know how to do.
Drum cold vulanizing coating method is as follow:
1.Clean residue rubber, oil and dirt frist,and grind repeatly on drum surface using L1202 angle grinder,make drum surface rough and have no rust spot,
then grind softly using fiber buffing disc.
2.After grinding ,clear drum surface using cleaning brush,then do deeper clean using cleaning solution SK353,make sure there isn't any residue.
Wait it dry if there is water on drum surface.
3.Brush metal primer SK363 evenly on the cleaned drum surface,and wait it completely dry.
4.Mix and stir cold vulcanizing glue SK313 with hardener according to the proportion 100: 4.
Brush the mixture on conveyor drum surface hard and evenly,and wait it dry. Then brush second coat after the first coat is dry, meanwhile brush one coat on the back of the rubber sheet.
5.When apply rubber sheet on conveyor drum, need roll rubber surface using roller stitcher, and then hit it firmly using rubber mallet, make sure there is no air trapped between
bonding layers.At last,seal rubber sheet joint using Joint filler, Polish and trim drum lagging egde. Drum conveyor can be back to use after glue is dry.

To coat conveyor drum in cold vulcanizing way,cold vulcanizing glue sk313 is in common use, it is compound of 1kg adhesive and 40g hardener.
It is with high bonding strength, can be cured at room temperature. Mainly used for bond rubber to rubber , rubber to metal , rubber to fabric,and fabric to fabric, and its
bonding strength is not affected by environmental factors.
