Backup facilities // Stamping foil
For marking products in the leather and shoe industry, many companies use various types of foil, which are divided depending on the method of applying it to the product: foil for hot stamping, foil for cold stamping.
A foil for hot stamping is applied to the surface of the product using a stamp heated to a certain temperature, which melts the hot-melt layer and transfers the image from the stamp to the product due to the pressure of the stamp.
A foil for cold stamping is presented in the same color card as foil for hot stamping. Using this foil, you can cold emboss those materials that do not withstand heat. However, it is not possible to perform cold stamping on absorbent materials.
