Bolt is a cylindrical threaded fastener with a nut. A type of fastener consists of a head and a screw (a cylinder with an external thread), which needs to be matched with a nut to fasten.

Pin is used to position and fasten components. There are two types, cylindrical and conical. The installation of pins generally adopts two methods, press-in method or knock-in with soft metal. Pins are usually conical, pointed or pointed wood or metal pegs, to nail or fasten or to fill holes.

There are several processings:

Head forming processing: The inner end side of the high-strength bolt and the center line of the rod have verticality requirements, generally between 0.04-0.10mm. In order to ensure the tensile strength of the high-strength bolt, the inner end face is required to be chamfered R, value generally R1 ± 0.5.

Rod processing: external surface processing by turning and grinding, the semi-finishing accuracy can reach IT10-IT9, and the surface roughness value can be Ra 6.3 - 3.2um. Cylindrical grinding is the main method of cylindrical finishing, generally after heat treatment.

Thread processing: There are several ways to produce thread, turning, milling, grinding, rolling, etc. For high-strength bolts, we choose rolling threads. Rolling is a chip-free machining process. The thread is formed by cold forming. Rolling has high capacity.

Heat treatment: treatment of high-strength bolts (quenching and high temperature tempering).

Surface treatment: according to customers requirements, there are several common surface treatment for bolts and pins, dacromet, zinc plating, surface phosphating. Galvanization and phosphating are mostly used in our past production experience.
